Hi, I’m Lisa.

I’m a writer, editor, and content creator with over 20 years experience at major brands including Hearst, WW, and Condé Nast.

I am experienced in recipe development, recipe editing, and content creation around food and cooking for print, digital, and video platforms, and am a cookbook developer, editor, and writer. I’ve been a James Beard Foundation Book Award Judge since 2006 and a JBF nominee for digital writing and editing myself. I graduated from Boston University with a BS in Communication and pursued graduate studies in Italian literature at Università di Roma, La Sapienza. After returning to New York I attended culinary school at the Institute of Culinary Education. I share my Hoboken, NJ kitchen and home with my husband, our two daughters, and a mini poodle named Hazel.
